What is white label development, and how does CodaMinds work with agencies?

White label development means we build the website, app or system and your agency delivers it under its own name. CodaMinds does this for marketing, design and digital agencies in Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, the UK and the US. You keep the client. We never contact them unless you ask, and files and accounts go to whoever you name.

Steven Lim started the studio in Kuala Lumpur in 2021 and has built apps and websites since 2016. The person you message is the person who builds your project, so your brief never passes through an account manager or a stranger halfway through. We work in English, and in 中文 or Bahasa Melayu when your end client needs it. We meet agencies in person across the Klang Valley, and agencies abroad work with us over video calls, messages and a shared draft link.

When an agency needs a development partner

Most agencies that call us have one of a few problems. The team designs well but has no developer. A client who bought a website now wants an online shop, a booking system or an app. A busy stretch brings in more builds than the team can take on. Or a developer left, and a live client site needs someone who can read the code and keep it running.

In each case you want the same thing: the work done properly, under your name, by someone who does not try to take the client. That is the whole arrangement.

What the arrangement covers

Your brand, not ours

We build to your brief, your designs or your brand guide. If you have no design yet, we design to your brief and you present it as your own. Nothing you forward to your client carries our name unless you want it to. There is no credit line on the finished site unless you ask for one, and we never name your client or show their project in our own work without your written permission.

You own the client relationship

You talk to your client. We talk to you. We never contact your client, reply to them or reach out to them later, unless you ask us to. When a call with your client helps, we join it as part of your team, in whatever way you introduce us.

Files and accounts go where you say

The source files, the domain, the hosting and the store accounts go to whoever you name: your agency or your client. Nothing is held back and nothing is left in an account of ours. If you move the work to another team later, you take all of it with you. There is no lock-in.

One fixed quote per project

Each project gets a written scope and one fixed price, sent to you before anything starts. You set your own price to your client. Anything outside the scope is quoted to you first, so a change request from your client never turns into a surprise bill.

Languages and time zones

We write and reply in English. When your end client needs pages in 中文 or Bahasa Melayu, we build and check those languages too, written to read naturally to a native speaker. Our working day overlaps with most of Asia-Pacific and with the UK morning. With agencies in the US, most of the work moves by message and the draft link, and calls are booked at an hour that suits both sides.

Confidentiality and an NDA

We sign an NDA on request, before you share the brief. We already build for clients whose names stay private, and we keep that promise in our own portfolio, on our own site and in conversation.

How we work

Brief. You send what your client needs, the designs or brand guide if you have them, and the languages. We sign an NDA first if you want one. We reply with questions and a written scope.

Fixed quote. One price to you for the agreed scope, approved before anything starts. Anything outside it is quoted to you first.

Draft for your review. You get a draft link to open on your phone, check and forward to your client if you choose. We revise from your notes until you sign off.

Build and test. We build every page and every language, and test on real phones. You see the result before your client does.

Handover and care. Files and accounts go to whoever you name. After launch we can keep the site or app running under your brand, with each change quoted to you first.
